Erika has worked with a variety of organizations and businesses in Europe and North America, from foreign trade to response marketing/advertising agencies and industry clients. Her curriculum includes renowned international corporations such as Ogilvy & Mather Direct, American Express, Daimler Benz, DHL, Air France, SNCF, Saab and more.
Her versatility, resourcefulness, creativity and understanding of process are reflected in numerous integrated B2B and B2C concepts and award-winning campaigns that contributed to the success of clients in industries such as financial services, consumer services, transportation (air, rail, road), travel & tourism, magazines, mail order and business services.
She successfully managed marketing accounts and consulted with clients. Her scope of responsibilities included budgeting, planning, scheduling, building and coordination of teams, campaign and content development, conceptual copy-writing, directing design and creative, supervision production and implementation, and results analysis.
An intuitive and innovative strategist she has been instrumental in various marketing/communication team settings. Upon relocating from Europe to Canada in 1995, she combined her passion for the North with her communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Engaging in travel and tourism she educated herself with the travelled regions and guided for seven summer seasons numerous long-distance tours throughout Yukon &, Alaska and British Columbia & Alberta as driver/guide and tour director.
In the fall, winter and spring of the same period she contracted in different service industries supporting tourism-related and other businesses and associations with marketing, copy-writing and translation services. She volunteered with and contributed to marketing and communications committees at Tourism Yukon, the David Suzuki Foundation, Greenpeace and other non-profit organizations.
She added online services to her range of services, including: web publishing/website design, web content and email newsletter development, and imagery.
Erika is well travelled, passionate about the Yukon and Alaska, the Arctic, coastal landscapes, Earth, nature and wildlife, sustainable choices, renewable resources, locally grown organic foods, wholesome nutrition, working creatively, designing, crafting & sewing, DIY, writing, photography, alternative healing and body-mind-spirit wellness. |
